A thermal survey under load is one of the few ways to see degradation before it becomes an event. A connection running warm in a distribution path, or a failing component in the cooling plant that is still working well enough to hide.

Infrared electrical inspections
Distribution, switchgear, UPS and PDU paths scanned energized, with each anomaly measured and located.
Infrared mechanical inspections
Cooling plant, motors and drives, where a thermal signature is the first sign of a bearing or a drive on the way out.
What you get
Findings recorded per component with thermogram, control photograph, measured temperature and location, which is the record maintenance planning and compliance both need.
Surveys follow NFPA 70B and run on energized equipment from a safe standoff, which is the only way a live facility gets inspected at all.

Can you survey a live data center?
Only a live one, because the method requires load. Scanning is non-contact, runs from a safe standoff, nothing is opened beyond your own procedures, and nothing is interrupted.
We have redundancy. Why scan?
Redundancy absorbs the first failure silently, which means the second one is the outage. The scan finds the degrading component while the redundancy is still intact, which is the whole value of having it.
What about the cooling plant?
Same visit, same physics. Motors, drives and pumps show thermal signatures as they degrade, and a cooling failure takes the room down as surely as an electrical one.
