Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) – Non-Destructive Roof Diagnostics
Atlantic Testing Services provides Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) as an independent, non-destructive diagnostic service used to identify membrane breaches and discontinuities in low-slope roofing systems.
ELD testing allows owners, consultants, and contractors to verify membrane integrity without invasive cuts or guesswork, making it ideal for new installations, forensic investigations, and pre-repair assessments.
What This Service Is
ELD is a diagnostic inspection method, not a repair service. ATS does not install or modify roofing systems. We test, map, document, and report findings so informed decisions can be made by the project team.
When ELD Is Used
- New roof quality assurance (QA/QC)
- Warranty verification
- Leak investigations where interior signs are inconclusive
- Pre-repair or pre-overlay assessments
- Post-repair validation
Our Approach
ATS performs ELD using industry-recognized methods and equipment in accordance with accepted standards. Results are documented with clear field markings, annotated drawings, and written reports outlining observed conditions and limitations.
Why ATS
- Independent third-party testing
- Non-destructive methodology
- Objective documentation
- No conflict of interest with repair work
